Udi Abramovic
Vice President, Global Operations
Mr. Abramovic is responsible for the effective operations of the company’s global supply chain including purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management, product ordering, and sales contracting processes. He also has oversight for quality initiatives within the company such as ISO standards compliance and directs the activities of both the IT and MIS departments which support the company worldwide.
A veteran in operations management with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Abramovic most recently held the position of VP, Operations for Radlan, a provider of embedded networking software that teamed with Marvell to offer the industry’s first 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch. Prior to his tenure at Radlan, he was VP, Operations for Broadlight, which specialized in semi-conductors. Mr. Abramovic was also founder and VP, Operations for BreezCOM, an early pioneer of broadband wireless access solutions that went public and was later acquired by Alvarion, a leader in WiMAX and wireless broadband solutions. He started his professional career as Manager of Operations for networking communications provider Lannet, which was acquired by Avaya.
Mr. Abramovic has a degree in practical engineering in electronics and computers with the O.R.T. school of engineering in Tel Aviv and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Derby College.
Christine Aruza
Vice President, Corporate Marketing
Ms. Aruza brings to Radware over a decade of in-depth knowledge of the marketing, sale and delivery of IT solutions. As Vice President of Corporate Marketing, she is responsible for advertising, branding, creative, analyst and public relations, communications, industry events, and corporate programs worldwide.
Ms. Aruza has held management positions in diverse organizations including the F50, enterprise software providers, management consulting firms and international ventures. Most recently, Ms. Aruza served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Enamics, an IT management software company and two-year recipient of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 award. Prior to Enamics, she directed business development and marketing activities for the international performance management firm Exaide Consulting and had previously co-founded an IT Service Management consulting company. Ms. Aruza began her career spearheading national alliance efforts for Hewlett-Packard’s OpenView ITSM unit to rapidly grow its nascent partner base after the company’s acquisition of PROLIN.
An industry-awarded marketer, Ms. Aruza is a 2004 CMO Council inductee and has contributed her IT management subject expertise to industry articles, books, and management methodologies. Ms. Aruza graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Florida.
David Aviv
Vice President, Advanced Service
Mr. Aviv leads the strategy for Radware’s carrier market solutions for both fixed and mobile operators. As Vice President, Advanced Services, he draws upon decades of expertise in the telecommunications sector and works closely with service provider executives and industry analysts to ensure Radware solutions meet market needs for optimizing IP service operations. Mr. Aviv’s team provides technology and marketing direction and support across the Radware organization. Mr. Aviv also currently holds the position of the Technical Chairman of the Israeli Telecom Standards body.
Prior to his appointment at Radware, Mr. Aviv served at Ofek, an Israeli ILEC, as the Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Aviv led the design and development of a new, “all IP”, national carrier network based on wireless access technologies. He also functioned as the head of Ofek’s consulting group. Before joining Ofek, Mr. Aviv led the design and implementation of various enterprise-scale communication systems.
Mr. Aviv holds a B.S. cum laude from Ben-Gurion University and an M.S. cum laude from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Aviv also earned a Ph.D from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Ilana Barak
Global Vice President, Human Resources
Ms. Barak is responsible for the strategic planning, effective management, and coordination of human resources worldwide and provides tactical and transactional HR support to Radware’s corporate offices.
Prior to joining Radware, Ms. Barak served as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Comverse Technology Inc., a leader in software solutions for the telecommunications industry. She was a business partner to management in several divisions (Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Global Customer Support) leading the HR practices in Israel, EMEA, and APAC for divisions ranging from 100 to 800 employees. Prior to that, Ms. Barak was Vice President of Human Resources for Starhome, a start-up subsidiary of Comverse. In this role, she increased the staff from 70 to 140 employees within one year. Before joining Comverse, Ms. Barak was the Director of Human Resources for the R&D division of ECI Telecom.
Ms. Barak is a member of both the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology in the United States, and the Psychological Association in Israel. She holds a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, a M.A. in vocational counseling psychology from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in psychology and education from the University of Haifa in Israel.
Yaron Bielous
Vice President, Product Management/Product Marketing
A technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in Israel, the U.S. and Europe, Mr. Bielous has identified, defined and executed product strategies for more than ten different products in the networking, telecom and enterprise software industries. At Radware, Mr. Bielous has oversight for the end-to-end product planning, management, and go-to-market lifecycles for its market-leading solutions.
Before joining Radware, Mr. Bielous directed the product management and customer support organizations for Zend Technologies, a software company that supports businesses using Web infrastructure environments. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Product Management at Aduva, leading the strategy for the company’s software product, which managed the deployment of Linux-based enterprise servers. As Vice President of Product Management at NetReality, he played a leadership role in building the award-winning WiseWan bandwidth management solution for enterprises and carriers. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bielous held various product management positions for network management systems and enterprise software companies.
Mr. Bielous earned a B.S. in information systems from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology. Mr. Bielous also holds a patent for optimizing interactions in data communications network environments.
Avi Chesla
Vice President, Security
Mr. Chesla is charged with managing Radware’s security business unit and the security roadmap for the company’s network intrusion prevention system. This includes defining all product management and product marketing operations, the theoretical basis for current and future security products, and the research and design of core product algorithms. Mr. Chesla is also responsible for specific patent pending applications, evaluating OEM opportunities and representing the company’s product, technology and future directions to industry analysts and major account prospects.
Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Chesla held several senior positions with V-Secure Technologies, a start-up security solutions company. During his tenure as CTO and Vice President of Product Strategy, Mr. Chesla managed all research and development operations and led the engineering of the organization’s network intrusion prevention system and its core technology. Mr. Chesla also directed V-Secure’s technology partnerships, including the partnership that ended in the acquisition of V-Secure by Radware in 2005.
A member of ICSA Labs, which offers international vendor-neutral testing and certification of security products, Mr. Chesla has authored a number of articles for major information security publications and has earned a number of patents related to network security. Mr. Chesla holds a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
Eran Pri-El
Vice President, Global Technical Services
Mr. Pri-El is charged with providing technical support and maintenance for all Radware customers globally. This includes customer service, systems engineering management, sustained engineering efforts, pre-sales consulting, professional services, and implementation of training programs.
Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Pri-El served for 16 years in various managerial positions with Comverse (CMVT), a global leading company in value added services (VAS) and billing for the telecom market. Most recently, Mr. Pri-El served as the COO of the Fun Dial Product division of Comverse and for the last three years managed all aspects of customer support for the EMEA and APAC regions. Prior to this role, Mr. Pri-El held different positions with Simtech LTD., a weapon simulation solution company.
Mr. Pri-El holds a masters degree in Information Technology from Clark University, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from New English College (summa cum laude) and graduated from the Top Executive Program at Tel Aviv University School of Business Administration. Mr. Pri-El also holds a degree in practical engineering in electronics and computers from Amal College in Israel.
Sharon Trachtman
Vice President, Global Marketing
Ms. Trachtman has served as Vice President of Global Marketing since the company’s inception in 1997. In this role, she is responsible for corporate and product marketing with additional oversight of worldwide field and channel marketing.
Ms. Trachtman played a pivotal role in the company’s IPO and shortly thereafter spearheaded its successful, global rebranding campaign that repositioned the company and its entire product line. During this time, advertising campaigns under her direction won top-level, international awards for "Best Ad" in NetworkWorld (Germany) and in IT Week (UK). Previously in her tenure, Ms. Trachtman also established the company’s initial product management, knowledge, and technical writing teams.
Before joining Radware, Ms. Trachtman worked for Scitex as global product line marketing manager, which was later acquired by Kodak and then Hewlett-Packard. In her time there, she also held various responsibilities including product manager and manager of U.S. product marketing.
Ms. Trachtman holds a bachelors degree in computer science and philosophy from Bar Ilan University.
Yuval Pemper
Vice President, Research and Development
Mr. Pemper is responsible for the research, development, and quality assurance of Radware’s range of products, hardware platforms, and software infrastructure. He also directs the beta testing and configuration management for the company’s product portfolio and is involved in the planning of next generation solutions.
Mr. Pemper has held various technology management positions during his tenure with the company. Most recently, as Director of Hardware and Software Infrastructure, he managed three development groups to supply the infrastructure required for the company’s switch and intrusion prevention systems. While serving as Application Software Infrastructure Group Manager, Mr. Pemper introduced advanced software development methodologies to streamline delivery. He also managed an engineering team that transformed the CertainT100 into one of the company’s most highly regarded products. Prior to his tenure at Radware, Mr. Pemper held research and development leadership roles for a number of technology companies in the communications and networking industries, most notably Comverse Network Systems.
Mr. Pemper holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University where he graduated summa cum laude and published numerous scientific papers. Mr. Pemper also earned a B.S. with honors in physics and mathematics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Charlie Robertello
Vice President, Americas
Mr. Robertello brings more than 20 years of technology industry experience to his role as Vice President, Americas with Radware. He is responsible for the strategy and execution of sales, services, field marketing, and operations for the Americas. Leveraging his extensive work with Fortune 500 CIOs to deliver technology solutions that meet the demands of global businesses, Mr. Robertello also provides leadership in formulating innovative programs to drive market presence and growth for the region.
Prior to his tenure at Radware, Mr. Robertello served as Vice President of the Americas for Expand Networks where he successfully built and led the sales organization to penetrate adjacent markets. He also served as Vice President of Sales for the East and Federal Government at F5, driving quarter-over-quarter growth for the company and contributing more than 20% of worldwide sales. During his career, Mr. Robertello has also held senior sales and management positions at VeriSign, Secure Computing, Cordant, Information Security Systems, and Sony (Aiwa).
Mr. Robertello holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems and business administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Yossi Vardi
Vice President, Global Business Development
Mr. Vardi is an accomplished business development executive with over 12 years of proven success across sales and marketing management, global strategic alliance development, operations management, and customer service. His broad experience is drawn from working within a diverse range of companies including pure startups on up to publicly held companies – all of which have served the global IT marketplace.
Mr. Vardi has been with Radware since close to inception, having been originally brought on board to expand Radware’s global reach and establish its first regional offices. After several years of successfully managing the company’s ANZ operations, he went on to develop its carrier strategy for initial launch within the APAC region. Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Vardi established successful ventures with leading technology vendors in the APAC region.
Mr. Vardi graduated from the military boarding school and the Reali School in Haifa and later studied at the University of Haifa.
Terence Ying
Vice President, APAC
Mr. Ying is responsible for directing and growing Radware’s business in the Asia Pacific region. He plays an active role in driving the sales and service strategy for the region’s customers, systems integrators, distributors, and alliance partners. During his tenure, the region has experienced exponential growth and has secured some of the company’s largest deals in the carrier and financial services sectors.
Mr. Ying has a proven track record of growing business in the Asia Pacific region, bringing more than a decade of sales, business development, marketing and engineering experience with established companies to the position. Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Ying held a series of senior positions with Nortel Networks’ APAC division, serving as Marketing Director for the company’s Intelligent Internet Business Unit, as well as Managing Director of Greater China for Alteon WebSystems, acquired by Nortel in 2000. Before these roles, Mr. Ying served as the Enterprise Director for Nortel in Hong Kong.
Mr. Ying is a graduate of Macquarie University of Australia, where he received a master’s degree in IT management.
